Thank you Joanna, thank you Shelly,

Yes I'm tired but I'm feeling good and strong not to fall for old stupid habits.

I loved to watching flowers growing in the garden and I still do. For now I feel more than good with watching my bank account growing for the big day 🙂

All the best to everyone and I hope you all doing well in not gambling

Wolfgang

Hello diary,

Feeling shattered after another 14 hours day.

At the moment my mood is like the weather here in the Netherlands it's going up and down.

Can't wait for this job to be finished and hope that it pays out at the end.

Don't really know why I'm depressive at the moment, the work is hard but it's what I'm used of and I have no gambling on mind what so ever, but something is not right.

Maybe I'm in a better mood tomorrow again, or Saturday, or Sunday, or ... , who knows.

But what ever my mood is like, I'm gamble free and I'm definitely keep it this way and that's the most important thing.

Best wishes to you all

Wolfgang

Hello my dear diary 🙂 ,

I do know that I probably not spend as much time with you as I should but I'm doing pretty well in not gambling.

I'm just always really tired after work and to pick up the internet I have to go in the lounge because the wifi isn't strong enough to get it in my bedroom 🙁

I'm looking foreword to a nice weekend at home but is still 3 more 14 hour shifts to go till then I went through a few posts on the recovery page and also on the 2014 challenge not through all think it would take me all nite to do this but the posts I've read are making me feeling happy it's good to see how good you all do on your recovery road :))

Reading mr brightside's updates in the 2014 challenge is always good and I really wonder how you manage this you doing a really great job there.

For me is now bedtime and I wish you all a good week and strength in your way to recovery

Good night dear diary 🙂

Hello diary,

I haven't posted here for ages blame on me but still since day one till now on day 117 gamble free maybe because there is so much other stuff going around my head I'm not even thinking about gambling.

I've read the odd posts and I'm sorry to see that not everyone can stay of it but all I can say is as long as you a find your way back here it will get better and the day will come when gambling becomes history for you as long as you really want to get out if the devils circle.

I've relapsed many times in the past before I got to the point where I'm now and I know that I never will be safe it's waiting just around the next corner but knowing this keeps me alerted.

Recovery is a life time process there is no "now I'm over it" and it never will be.

And I think this is the key, with knowing this and accepting it I've learned to deal with that there is something, what brings others fun and maybe when they are lucky a little win, but I'm not able to do it because I can't control it or stop it.

I find it always funny when I read the warning signs on betting shops or gambling halls "gambling should be fun not a problem, set yourself your limit"

I've set myself my limit and the limit is "0" and you all can do this to 😉

Good luck to you all on your recovery road stay strong fellas you can do this !!!!

Hi Wolfgang - Good to hear from you and that you are still staying strong regards gambling.

I was really sorry to read your post on the Challenge about the bad time Lou, and you. are experiencing with her parents so ill in hospital.

What a worrying time for you both - I am sure you are a great comfort to Lou. Good wishes to you both, and I hope that there may be a little light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Joanna
