Hi Wolfgang,

You are absolutely right about the silky words of the gambling demon, and it is a tricky and slick liar. I don't think any of us can claim to be perfect, but I know that trying to do that too often helped me end up in the place I was a few months ago. You can only be the best you can be, and without gambling, you are so much closer to being that guy.

Congratulations on starting to beat those demons back, and for making the right decisions.

Ryan

Hello diary,

I've had a good weekend with my lovely Lou and it looks like that even the weather starts to improve now.

Have been reading through many posts here and put a few posts down myself.

I think I could easy spend a full day on reading and replaying to posts and still couldn't get through all the daily posts, what sometimes annoys me a little though.

However I'm staying focused on what's important for me to stay gamble free and I feel really good with it.

Wolfgang

Hi wolfgang

i just wanted to say after reading your diary it really is amazing how uplifted you seem in your more recent posts, you sounded in such despair at the beginning of you diary and now its like reading a different persons story, it gives me hope for my own future seeing yours (and many others) stories and how quickly life can improve when you make this life change...

stay strong and thank you 🙂

Hello diary,

I'm still on track and feeling well 🙂

Have a good contract in Netherlands for the next 3 months and looking positive in the future.

Life can be good if we want it to be.

And it certainly is for me at the moment and I will do my best to keep it this way.

The magic is still the same "staying focused on my addiction and taking every day gamble free as a gift"

Never look back the future is now 🙂

Hi Wolfie - I was so glad to see you checking in on the 2014 Challenge as I was getting a bit worried (although I had a feeling deep down that you were fine and busy)!

Best wishes for the Netherlands contract.

Stay happy!

Hello diary,

I'm still a good boy and will surely keep it this way have a lot and hard work on at the moment here in the Netherlands but this is good even sometimes I would like to be at home because I think Lou is very lonely at the moment and I don't really like her being on her own to much but I can't change it at the moment and the money is needed so I will carry on here till it's finished.

Good night diary I've got to sleep now
