Day 24/25

Another 2 days pass without any problem. I've got the old firm game this weekend and I've got say 80 pounds put away. Usually I would think that's not enough so I would gamble the 30 and if I win I would have a good night. Lose the 30 probably bet some more and end up having to borrow for my day out. Not now though now I look and realise 80 is more than enough and probably come back with change.

Best thing I did 25 days ago was coming to this decision and I write In my diary so if I'm having a bad day I.can read my entries and remember how.worthwhile it is.

Sunday 1st February

Somewhere along the line I have missed a day.

Sunday went well. Went to football had a drink with my mates told them about not gambling. They where all very shocked but congratulated me on doing so well.

Like I say I've missed a day but Sunday was day 28 and now that's complete that is me now 4 weeks gamble free.

I've been so busy with work and stuff at home I've not had time to update my diary. Although Saturday was quite a tough day. Was in the house doing stuff listening to football and the temptation to bet was very hard to resist. However I took a 3 walk with no bank card and once I returned the temptation was gone.

That's me now at 5 weeks and the difference in me is amazing. Financially I am getting there and soon will be in my best position I've ever been financially. I have some health issues that are improving amazingly since I quit gambling. Stress of gambling can make you very I'll.

5 weeks gone

Well I'm back. I managed 41 days without gambling and I was out with my mates drinking. We put a ten pounds bet on and soon we had 225 pound each. The next day I knew it was a mistake but I was just thinking about how easy the money was and if I gamble sensible I could continue. Well that's been me over a month gambling lying sleepless nights the whole lot.

I was so much happier when I wasn't gambling. Life was a lot better.

Here I go again day 1 starts now
