Noticed a trigger for me to gamble, worry over my son. I haven’t been able to get hold of him for a few days so whittling like mad. Gambling used to be an escape for me too but now I have to face those concerns. When we move hopefully at weekend I’ll be able to nip round to his flat to ease my mind. Gf and staying that way 42 days tomorrow

42 days my son still Uncontactable so worried as usual, he’s heroin addict so it’s very hard. I have had to back off from him a few times because as I know myself addiction destroys ppl around the user as well. My biggest biggest fear is he’ll overdose I’m terrified of that happening. Sometimes I don’t know how I cope what with what happened to my grandsons mum a bit back too and what could’ve happened to my grandson. My son has nearly died a couple times he was six days in hospital last year with a 50/50 chance. I know I’ve been using gambling as an escape too but that’s stopped and how on earth can I help my son if I’m gambling! I feel ashamed of it. I just wish for once my son would try and get better god knows I’ve tried and tried and tried to help. I hate it when he ‘disappears’ I only imagine the worst. Got to be strong
