Thanks Suzanne, 52 days now ... I'm still checking in here weekly and on the 2015 challenge, even if it's not still officially being run. Having the need to come back and confirm I've not gambled and watching the days mount up helps me to keep going. Went to the seaside yesterday and never even considered going into the arcades. I think I've even managed to convince my kids they're a waste of money as they didn't even ask to go in. Happily spent the day at the beach with fish n chips n Ice cream !
Hi Clare, popping by to congratulate you on your 53 days & take my hat off to you for the Challenge update 🙂
Great work with the kids...We're off to Cornwall with my niece & nephew soon & we always used to play the penny pushers! Ice creams plus Fish & Chips are very much on the agenda instead for this year!
Keep winning - ODAAT
Hi Claire,
What a wonderful soul and spirit of the forum! My hat off to you also, amazing job on the challenge thread....this is what this site is about - unity and support all the way!
Very well done on your personal journey, keep winning and making the right choice.

Day 53.
Thank you guys for your support and dropping by my diary. I feel pretty strong in the battle against the gambling at the moment and hope by doing a quick update in the challenge 2015 it may just help a few to stay on track and give people a reason to still update and see/show their progress within the team. Some people have worked very hard this year and it would be a shame for the challenge to fizzle out. I don't have the time to do the big updates Phil did and welcome newbies/ regular comments through the week so wouldn't like to say I'll run the challenge at this stage as I wouldn't do it justice. Of course if anyone would like to take the responsibility it's a role that's available to any fellow soldier. In the meantime I'll try to find the time to update the day count each week 🙂
Hi Claire,
Just popping by to say its fine for me to pick up the challenge later on in the month.
Not sure what will happen long term, I would do it permantely if I had a little more technology at my disposal other than my phone. Think Phil used a microsoft excel spreadsheet. Im actually really good with excel and usd it a.lot at work. I cant really be doing stuff like that on a works computer though.
Anyway, we'll see how it all pans out.
Mark
Hi Mark
Yes please if you could do it on that Sunday I'm away. I'll do the update this Sunday and Sunday after unless anyone else wants to volunteer but I'm happy to do it.
Keep on winning Mark.
Clare 🙂

Thank you Suzanne 🙂
Day 59 - Will be half way towards my major milestone of 120 days tomorrow. This is the longest I went last time and I hope to beat this target. Only 61 days!
Keeping the days count on the 2015 challenge should help me stay focussed.
Hi Emily.
You sound like you have your head in the right place already ... You must definitely remove any opportunity to gamble and/ or have zero control over the pennies. So pleased you've got support at home to help you overcome this and avoid chasing those losses. Keep this positive and logical in your approach to this problem and you'll accept it for the little blip (albeit a large financial one) that it is !
Best wishes and I'll be rooting for you !
Morning Clare.
Fantastic to see 60 days.
you are forgiven lol. Thank you for continuing the challenge.
Have a great day.
