Day 1. Today I gambled.

Tomorrow i will not gamble.

I have self excluded from my 'problem sites' and I will be paying most of my bills early to ensure they are covered.

the next few months will be hard as I will have no money as it will all be going to my debt but I know that if I don't gamble even one penny I can get there.

Good luck to everyone else on this journey xx

Good luck!

Use the next few months to try a few free/low cost things that might improve your life. As with 75% of the UK I'm on the detox / fitness kick in January so that is a good way to kick the booze.

Also doing a bit of reading to try and understand the mind a little bit which might make me a bit less anxious and maybe help with controlling the gambling. I've just started a book called 'The Chimp Paradox' which was recommended and it does strike a lot of chords. I have a load of quitting gambling books my mum bought me a few years ago, never read them, guess I wasn't that serious! I'm going to read them in the new year too.

Thanks for the post tears. I am busy trying to fill my days at the moment. Redecorating, reading and having lunch with friends.

Let me know how the books turn out, I may get myself one x

Thanks Barney.

Day 7 today. No urges at all except I dreamt about gambling last night. Even so I will not gamble today. First time in a long time I have a bit of money in the bank and bills are paid. Going to withdraw what is left as this is my money for the month and as confident that I am that I won't gamble I'd rather reduce all possibilities.

feeling good today. Hope everyone is having a happy gamble free day x
