Many thanks for your support and best wishes.

I had a nice weekend away.

Just going to start compiling a short update for the 2015 challenge. Feels good to be over the 100 mark and getting closer to my personal best of 120 days.

Day 103.

17 days to go to beat my previous best and I'm certainly looking forward to getting there.

Planning holidays / savings / debt repayments keeps me motivated.

Thank you Suzanne !

Yes I'm happy I beat my previous best.

Its such a Shame to see people give in when they start gambling again because they reset their days counter. I understand more than ever now that's a very risky time to give in trying and I'm just glad I was able to find the strength to keep saying no to gambling and build up my days again.

Clare 🙂

Hi Clare

Congratulations on continuing to fight your urges. You have definitely done very well so far. I read about your job search quest and wanted to offer my best wishes and encouragement on that front. I was there in your situation at the begining of this year but was not as strong as you and gave in mutliple times to my gambling urges before finding my current job. Giving in did not help at all and it just messed up my situation at that time. You are doing a great job at keeping the urges at bay while keeping your job search going. I think this is fantastic and I wish you all the strength to continue with this. That job is definitely not far away and you will get there sooner rather than later.

Best regards and wishes

Thanks WillDo79 much appreciated support and I hope you're not finding it too tough at the moment either.

Interviews lined up over coming days so hopefully I will secure a job and it will ease the stress.

Thanks for dropping by 🙂

Thanks Emily and GT I have interview tomorrow so hoping this could be the job for me. It's causing me lots of stress and anxiety and luckily for me it hasn't brought gambling into the mix so there's no worries there.

I have now 200 days gamble free in my sights :).

Hi Clare

No worries at all. Hope your interview went well. If not that was just an experience as all you need is just another one to click. My best wishes. And you are doing fantastic by remaining gamble free. Each day you are becoming stronger and not getting complascent which is the key. I am sure things will work out for the better sooner than later while you keep abstaining. I am doing the same too despite urges. We will get there 🙂

best wishes

Day 150 I got the job and starting next week !!

No gambling and no temptations either. Minimal urges and loving how much better life is with debts gradually reducing and I pay off my credit card now each month. It's only used for household bills mainly but I pay the balance each month.

Feeling relaxed this weekend now the job hunt is over 🙂
