Day 156 🙂

All's well and no real urges lately. Not thinking about it much at all really. Keep that guard up though. . Just in case.

Hi boxingdaysmay15, I don't comment much but have been reading the yearly challenges last year and this. Haven't seen you on the 2016 challenge for a couple of weeks, just checking that all is ok?! You're such a positive person, and the challenge is missing your input imho.

Hey, you're back! It takes courage to come back on here (I used a different name as I was so ashamed) but I'm really glad you're back - as I said, your positivity goes a long way. Welcome back anyhow, you've done so well in the past and will do again.

Day 3 and so far so good. Thinking about gambling in the right way is helping. Accepting it's a fools game. Nobody ever wins and it's pointless seems to be my mantra. Who ever made money from gambling ? As a CG I know I can never gamble at a manageable level as you're always building up towards your next big loss. Well I'm fine with accepting my relationship with Mr Gamble is finally over. We rekindled things for a while, but sometimes we have to go through ups and downs to realise what we truly want and I really want to say I've gambled my last £ this year and that thought should remain firmly in my mind when feeling temptation.

Day 4 and thinking how much better off I will be in the coming months is helping me to stay focused. Without signing back into this site and making this comittment to quit again I'd have definitely gambled by now. Feeling proud and resisting temptation.

Welcome back Claire, pleased to see you join the challenge again, and pleased you are not giving up on giving up.

Might be day 1 on your count, but what you have learnt so far on your recovery journey, outweighs that day 1))

OAUs my friend.
