Boxing Day 1

Hi Walliss77 thanks for your post on my thread. I sure hope I’ve finally had enough experience in this addiction and fighting it to finally stay gamble free this time. I really understand the triggers and can see how much better off I am financially and mentally and in all aspects of my life really. 

Day 54 gamble free 🙂 

Day 66 and delighted I’m still gamble free. Got bigger n better things to do with my life and cash ! Busy paying off big chunks of debt and saving for a brighter future. 

Day 70 and still gamble free

Dearest Clare.

I would like to join Eva in offering you my congratulations. You have shown great determination, courage and a willingness to say NO to gambling. Your progress has been excellent.

You have done the hard work so all that remains now is to stay strong, avoid complacency and take it nice and steady.

I also have just passed the 70 day mark and realise that this is a golden opportunity to live a life free from the horrors of gambling. 

However, we must always remain alert to the dangers.  I applaud your registering with Gamstop for 5 years and trust you have taken precautions to stop you gambling in the bingo halls.

Like your good self, I still have a few years remaining before my debt will be paid off. It is essential that we make regular repayments but we must not let it prey on our minds.

I wish you every success on your gamble free adventure.

I’m still gamble free and no no no way am I turning back now !

Day 95 and getting close to the big goal of 100 days. Finances looking much healthier and I might for once get to a point where I have a small amount saved up to tide me over when things get tough. 

Day 100

Reached a decent milestone, bring on the next hundred.
