Pay day!
Moved everything out of the account this morning except for funds to cover all the direct debits, most of which go out tomorrow.
Got £10 in my pocket and no other immediate access to the rest of my money. So that'll do for now, and for today, I will not gamble.

Today has been a good day. Work great, best day for a long time.
No urges, no desire, nothing!!
Golf range tonight I think, though not sure if that will go quite so well!!
Have a good evening all
M
Didn't make the golf range last night which is a pity, could really do with the practice! Ended up working late, but no matter, didn't gamble, so that's the important bit at the moment. No gambling today either, so now approaching 3 weeks. Jolly good!! Regards to all. M
Just keep going and take it easy on yourself. Quality recovery is the key for my recovery and the quantity comes along as a byproduct. Take care
Nothing to report of any great interest today. Gamble and urge free.
Should be no opportunity to sneak off this weekend, plenty to be getting on with.
And a busy week and following weekend with work ahead.
All continues to be good in my little world.
M
Good news! The Sheriff of Nottingham (HMRC) owe me money! Hoorah, cheque on the way. Robbing b******s! About time it was their turn. M
Enjoyed a good family weekend. Has been a real eye opener if I'm honest. Forget the money, the time I have wasted is virtually criminal. Have really enjoyed this weekend. Want to enjoy many more like this. M
Good gamble free week so far.
Away from tomorrow for a few days abroad with work, which should be good.
Have a good day all.
M
Back from a fantastic trip abroad. May have slightly overdone the vodka intake, but no gambling which is a result! Time now to dry out a bit. Busy week ahead, so no time for gambling.
Day 33
No gambling, no urges = more money.
Simple really!
M
hey mrt,
Things seem to be going really well for you now. So pleased to read that and long may it continue.
All the best mate
Dave
Wow, that's day 62 then!
Been flat out in the last two months at work, leaving time for family only and NO gambling.
Haven't abstained for this long for a long time.
Not going to get complacent though, only one step away from disaster!!
Take care all
Back to square one again! 🙁
Having abstained completely for over 7 months, I found myself foolishly taking shelter in an old haunt to avoid a downpour.
An hour and half later I walk out without a penny and been chasing since.
Back to basics it is. Carry little cash and no cards and daily posting. Didn't think for one minute I had beaten the addiction but thought I had some form of self control. Obviously not, only self destruction............
Day 3, no gambling Sunday or Monday and won't today.
I'll worry about tomorrow tomorrow.
Hi Mrt
Been a long time since posting on your diary, sorry to hear about your recent slip. Dont know if you have my email address still but if you do, email me, be good to catch up!!
Anyways i hope you are ok and not beating yourself up too much.
Hope you have all those blocks in place.
take care. andrew
