It's day two of staying clean. Got some payment in my account and following advice of a friend here, I transferred all the cash to my wife's account. The urge to gamble was strong but I beat it.
I am taking it one day at a time
Day 3 of staying clean. Woke up to calls needing financial assistance which I can't offer for now. With the pressure come strong urges for gambling but I am strongly resisting them.
I will have to learn to say NO to relatives and friends till when I can be in position to help again. For now I need to focus on recovery.

Day 5. Keeping strong and resisting the gambling urges. Staying money free is a real game change
Day 6 gambling free. Glad to be resisting some serious urges
Day 7! 1 week gambling free. Congratulations to myself and thank you Gamcare. Whenever the urges come very strongly I turn to stories here and the urge disappears
