Dah, what was it with today, Mr Gamble was out in force attacking us from all angles...Stupid son-ov-a-female dog! Good skills telling it where to get off!

So pleased to hear little one is recovering quickly 🙂

Stay on guard, keep looking after those golf balls ODAAT - Juuuuuune

Phew Ade, I've been catching up with my besties diaries today and gave a huge sigh of relief that you are still standing tall. Don't you dare do that again matey - you're our rock.

Look at you though Ade, 89 days - whoop whoop! Liking the profile pic but you'll have to change it now, don't go back to the jar of pickled eggs, do the Terry one again just for me ;o) (that's what I used to think the pic was, and often thought 'how strange to have a jar of pickled eggs and 2 bottles of lager' - now I have read the story behind it, it all makes sense!)

Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know that I'm still thinking of you all constantly, and rooting for you. I'm still happily gf too so all is good.

Stay strong Ade.

Rach xx

Thank you all so much for the support.

Funny day yesterday. Not sure where that came from? Still, live and learn, move forward and focus on the future. Which for me is going out for a nice walk in Richmond, followed by a pub lunch with a good friend and his family.....with my golf balls in tow too obviously....

Keep strong all and have a happy Sunday.... ;0)

Have changed my profile pic again at the request of the scary sauce spraying Rach!!

Hi Ade,

So pleased you have pushed through that challenging day yesterday. Keeping guard up at any time is important..i am not the one to advise you (obviously)..but please please remember the most important things in life when urges strikes. You and your family, plus couple of beers on the side to keep celebrating your life with your friends.

Proud of you dear soldier, have a amazing day and keep winning. Your life is in your hands

Now that's better Terry, harmony restored and all is right with the world! Now, that game of yours, can you only play it on kindle or can I download it to the ipad? Can we set up clan like my son does on Call of Duty?!

Hi
Ade

Yes GA groups can be the luck of the draw & its quite important to find a connection with @ least one person early on to ease you in i think. In much the same way as you get good & bad counsellors its important to check out who & what is available out there. I travel a bit & have gone to probably about 20 different groups. Some are good some are bad some are indifferent. I remember attending one & thinking that if this had been my first experience of GA i would never have come back.
The look back but dont stare quote is exactly what the 12 step recovery program is designed to lead you through.

Thank you all so much for the supportive posts.

Just back from a lovely day out. Pub lunch at The Crown pub in Richmond, which was lovely. Then back home for a fun time with my oh, my 2 girls and my friend, his oh and 2 boys and baby daughter. Played twister, and loads of games on the wii. A few beers and lots of laughs......

It's 5:20pm, and I've only just bothered to see how Spurs got on today.....looks like we were a tad lucky!! ;0)

Hd's indeed...

Keep strong all

Ade
