So i'm delighted to say i have reached double digits in my days free from gambling im now on day 10 and long may it continue,
the last ten days have been the easiest as I havent had money on my card to use online, I have had cash to spend in a casino or scratchcards but i chose not to do this
i have attended 2 GA meetings and have to say they are brilliant I can be totally honest let my feelings out and no one judges you they just listen and give their advice its nice to not be judged
i feel this is the first time i have taken stopping gambling seriously I have said before that i wasnt buying scratchcards or not wasting money on gambling but at that stage i didnt realise i had a problem its only the past 10 days ive accepted im powerless over the gambling bug so for this reason this is why i am serious about stopping,
ive had a completely different life the past 10 days, one where im not thinking about the money ive lost or where i can get money to place my next bet, if anything the complete opposite i havent thought about money once...not that im throwing it round me but i no longer worry about spending money as i know i will have money coming in as long as i dont gamble,
my girlfriend has seen a change in me also and thinks its great
i know times may get harder and the urges stronger but for now today i have a choice and i choose not to gamble

Thank you for posting your progress here and for describing so well how your life has changed recently without gambling. You do sound very determined and your high motivation to make changes are a brilliant starting point for your recovery journey.
