Thanks for the post. Would anyone read it though that's the question. They would have to sift through my many ramblings just to pick up even one worthy point.

I think you could do it even better in all honesty. Get all the right points in but if it gets heavy throw in a humorous anecdote to break it up.

Day 196, week 28. Busy day today, runny nose just in time for half term. Week off next week, hooray, unpaid, booo! Everything going ok, of course life has its ups and downs but I'm not dwelling on anything, instead I'm putting things into perspective. Still feeling strong, still aware of what I'm facing. It's strange to think why I gambled consistently for 30 years, that seems like someone else now, someone I pity somewhat, a habit which took over completely. So glad I've changed, must keep it this way, life is normal, better for me inside, full of pride although I have to keep it within myself. Take care all, Steve

Great great post , 30 years gambling !

Take a step back and just look at what u are achieving , what a change u av had to make to adapt a completely different lifestyle to the one u av lived nearly all ur life , myself was 26 years and just know how tough it is

It's a massive reflection on anyone who realises that a change is needed but to make that change happen is outstanding and sometimes I think we both need to remember that
