After a weekend full of football (watching), table tennis, eating and sleeping im back to my full energy again after a tough week at work last week.

I done 4000 steps each day over the weekend but rested up for a new week.

i slept a lot and woke to watch football.....

This week im thankful as the other porter is off for two weeks so i get 1.5 hours overtime each day...... cha ching an extra almost twenty pounds each day..... so almost 200 pounds extra mooola this will help go towards money ive spent on ps5 last month...... greatly appreciated.

12.25 x 15 = 183.75 chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ching i hear u say indeed........

183.75 x 2 weeks = 367.50 chaaaaaa ching this actually will be the cost of my ps5...

@adam123 Good for you Adam 👏👏. You will appreciate this extra money so much more than if you were to just win this amount in one go gambling. Plus, there would be a good chance that you would only place further bets if you did win! Thankfully, none of this has happened and you are making much better choices. Choices that are making you feel happier and healthier.  Long may it continue. 🙏.

Take care.

15 days later..... boy that's gone quickly.....what was i talking about? oh yeah overtime.....i ended up doing 11.5 hours overtime over the last two weeks so 12.25 x 11.5 = 141 pounds extra in next months pay cheque.....not too shabby ey....

Since then ive bought a outdoor sofa for 87 pounds...... a external harddrive for my ps5 84 pounds..... some boardies and other shorts for 11.50 from a charity shop.....

Ive eaten healthish..... took a back step on writing down my calories intake on my app....but ill catch it up and keep going with it.....

I walked a great deal thru those hours at work and done on average about 16000 steps each day.....one day i even done 10 miles walking over 5 hours......

Getting the outdoor sofa delivered on 10th of august saturday.....so will look forward to that....and hopefully some sun.

Ive got this monday, tuesday and wednesday as holiday days and it looks a good forecast for it so may go to the beach one day and also go to the gym plenty.

my stumach has now gone which is great....cant actually believe i look so healthy now.....friends are saying have u lost weight....others thinking of joining gym.... .going soo well.....

Thanks for popping by pink lady xxxx

evening diary, been to work, then went to the gym, then back cooked, ate, showered, washed up, now resting in bed ready for the challenge that is another day.....

Going to go and watch deadpool saturday afternoon...... going to get a breakfast on route.... 1pm showing....then will come back and go to the gym etc.

Healthwise had a health check the other day (blood pressure, blood test, weight, height ,etc) hoping for some good results as really been working on my health and eating better......

Ive had moments of eating badly mixed with some days of eating really really well..... along with days where ive just walked 5000 steps to days when ive done 20,000...... but im gradually losing weight and people at work are giving me good feedback on how i look which is great to hear....

Going to try and keep with this thru at last the summer months.... winter months ar emore challenging..... but whilst ive got the gp refferll discount on the gym ill keep going with it ..

Not played my vr too much as been relaxing in bed after work and not had time....but its great and ill no doubt get a lot of use out of it thru years to come

All the best lets do this fitness all the way a...... adam

here i am four days later....... friday night went to my folks for dinner and a bath.... then back for gamcare....

Saturday woke up 1pm nice lye in then a friend phoned and met them in town for a coffee and look around the charity shops..... didnt cost anything as it was a free octopus cafe nero coffee.... then came back watched the football then went for a walk then gamcare chat again....

Sunday woke up late again.... sat in sun for twenty mins was too hot for sun bathing,,,,, then a friend came over we played vr then i cooked bolognese.....then here i am....

Fitness going great....diet not going amazing but not too bad..... my weight is going in the right direction and im looking slimmer than ever.....

Hoping i can continue thru winter months vbut will have to see....if it goes up to 60 a month ill have to think about it and weigh it up..... i will obviously go less thru winter months as its dark and more intiscing to stay at home but will see the costs.... if it stays at 24 a motnh ill keep at it.

All the best adam xxx

Lids reading back ur innitial post on this thread u were going down the extreme low eati ng route for losing weight...... this isnt achievable long term.....

Best thing ive found is eating not less amounts (more amounts in some days) but eating freash food..... fruits, vegatables, good meals, the only thing ive been eating from freezer is pizzas and i cut them in half too....... and eating them with jacket potatoes (75p for 4 aldi price match at sainsburys)...... then eating omlettes with jacket potatoes...... spaghetti bolognese with red pepper and carrots and mixed frozen veg...... pasta bake (this is prob unhealthy but if dont put in too much cheese its fine...... dolmeo stir in pasta sauces......curries (pataks sauce) chicken with nann bread or rice not both...... at breakfast porridge or multigrain hooplas......lunch soup, or hoops, or baked beans with toast (if knocked out the crisps and fruit that i used to eat with it each day).  Then after work i come back and have coffee with crisps or bananna....

Im not eating less im kinda eating more but its the choices and freshness of the food that ive now got right.....znd also i thought that not eating freezer food would be more expensive but ive knocked a third off my monthly bill for food and drinks.....last year  i spet 150 quid a month..... for the first 5 motnhs of this year its been 99 pounds a month on all food and drinks.......

The key to being able to eat a lot is the effort ive now put into exercise...... ive gone from doing between 6k and 10k on a busy thursday at work...... to doing 10k everyday at work..... and then i rest when get home then if i feel adventurous wich is like 3 times a week i go to the gym in the evening or a walk outside if nice.... ive been visiting parks and town for coffee.....all adds to the steps.

Last week i done 83,000 steps y best since i started is 166,000 steps......

But i can honestly say the marathon steady eddie approach is the best way to go about it......

All the best adam

looking back in february i was 90kgs....weighed myself this morning and was exactly 84kgs......pretty good ey 5 kgs off.....

Taken a step back from training this week as been ill.....so been sitting in at home and not walking..... but on the plus side i havent eaten much as felt ill..... so thats why ive gone down slightly in weight.

Spent my time off work working on my fant footy team..... been really really looking forward to the new season..... ive watched the first game tonight and it wasnt the best of games and i didnt score too well with my two players but got 5 points so am second in the league as of tonight.... we will see how well i do the rest tof the weekend....

I also managed to not use special fant footy chips in the first week.... i usually go for tripple captin first week but this time ive held out....hoping it helps me towards the end.....

Yeah been off work weds to firday but thankfully i get sick pay so shouldnt affect me on pay day.

After two expensive months this month ive spent 50 pounds on all food and drink .... and thats it....so at moment i should save 879 pounds this month.... pretty good after last few months..... Over past year ive bought xbox, oled tv, cooker, flooring, blinds, extractor, ps5, vr2, all the subscriptions for them, some pictures, and some plants...... hopefully im coming to the end of everything that i needed for the flat.....been an expesnive couple of years.....but my flat looking great now and very comfortable..... ive also with the expense of heating and energy bills i turned off my hot water and boiled kettles for washing..... now its saved me 30 pounds each month doing this but now i think ill turn it on going into this winter and enjoy some baths and ill also turn the heating on this year (if costs 150 a month then so be it).....

I went to the gym sunday, monday and tuesday but not been since as been ill so ill see if i can go this weekend to play table tennis.....

All the best Adam xxx

evening..... ive had a productive first day back at work...... walked 10k steps at work then another 3k steps after...... went food shopping...... i have deals with nectar, aldi price matches etc that i use to get a good deal on everything...... i only buy something on a deal......ate sausagges and eggs tonight.......

work went well..... they are recruiting a new porter for our department..... no talk of overtime for me...... no talk of promotion..... just talk of new person on part time hours at base rate salary...... im actually fine with no overtime as when i done extra 7 hours a week couple of months back by the thursday i was completely knackered....... so i think they know this too hence no asking me if i want overtime....

Going to try and kick start my fitness even more this week after what was a poor week last week being off sick and staying at home for most of it.....

Friends going to a festival this weekend but i know that i cant as could be bad for my mental health.....hence stay at home and watch on tv......

I have however got next week off work and will watch the festival on tv on friday night with blink 182 and the prodigy to watch......

Ill see if i can then put in a good stint at work without being off sick......need to up my numbers i feel.....

Football was ok tonight we were completely dominant but only got a draw.....15 shots to their 2.....

My ultimate goal is to not be overweight on the bmi this would be me weighing 80 kgs or less.......now i cant see this ever happening but its a goal......

I started at 90 kgs in january february time....... this was the qoute and summed up my belief in whether i could lose weight as for soo long it has been my kryptonite......

80 kgs target never gonna happen...... well im well on the way now..... ive just weighed myself at heaviest part of day and im 85.5 kgs so 4.5 kgs down to date......

5.5 kgs left for my target....... im not going to set a target date...... just going to exercise as much as i can whilst maintaining strength and fully working and eat as healthy as i can whilst indulging where possible.

Now i was keeping a spreadsheet of exercise then my watch broke...... so now not looking at watch for steps which dramatically reduced my fitness steps for a bit untill i used google fit on my phone to track steps and off i went again......

So ive just tallied up the last 6 weeks where i wasnt writing it down and on average for the 18 weeks ive been on this exercise and diet regime ivve walked 42 miles a week...... 6 miles a day.....not bad......i was ill for a month in march and a few times recently so this figure is pretty reasonable i think.....

Onwars i go adam xx
