Did a workout and feeling fit!

Felt like gambling today but didn't - felt good to say 'no!'

Thanks for your support. I like what you say about going out drinking. It's fun for 2 hours but that's about it. Its down hill from then on and for me perhaps 2 days to fully recover.. not to mention it leading to urges to gamble.

Talking of gambling if you can stick to the £1 a week on the lottery and you feel comfortable with that, then that's all that matters. I choose not to do the lottery as it starts me on a slippery slope.. but that's just me.

Your much further on in your recovery than Baljit that's for sure. Good that the blocking software is back working properly again. Keep up with your fitness and exercise regime... is great for physical and mental well being. Take care.. S.A

day 5 and no urges to gamble. have been really busy this weekend, its almost over already! feels like it has passed in the blink of an eye.

im glad its getting cooler next week, this heat is nice but oppressive when out in the sun at work. One more week then off for a week for half term. I cant wait!

I haven't been posting as much either lately. It feels like I have been so busy!

Its lovely being married. Pretty much the same, but with a romantic twist.

Work is going ok, but getting really boring. However, in a city with high unemployment I am blessed to have a job. I am coping, and get lots of holidays - 13 weeks a year - so its not so bad. Most days are completely stress-free and you cant say that of many jobs these days.

I see progression in my recovery from nervous breakdown, every week. Its wonderful 🙂 3 months ago I would come home from work, go straight to bed and lie there in front of tv until i fell asleep around 9.30pm

Last night I went for dinner with my mum after work. Then stayed up until 11pm! wow!

I have not gambled for a week. Today is day 8, today I will not gamble.

Well done on 8 days freda 🙂 as i mentioned on your diary last week about you playing the lotto,seems quite a few do it. (See stumpers diary today) nothing wrong with living the dream lassie 😉 best wishes 🙂

Nice post, great to read, glad you are enjoying married life! I too am of work next week and cant wait to spend quality gamble free time with my sons.

Dont cry much anymore which is kinda good, lol! Good work on the gamble free time and as for the lottery its only a problem if you make it.

day 10 - no urges to gamble so far.

Had a good cardio workout this morning, feeling fit and healthy! some aches and pains, and feeling a bit vulnerable emotionally, but I think this is just a natural fluctuation that will pass in a few days. Cant be bothered with work today, but off next week so not too bad.

Going out to see a friends band tonight, but thankfully no gambling opportunities there.

Nope, we aren't going anywhere this week really as he is working 6 out of 7 days again. I am missing my new hubby!

Oh well, his work prospects are looking stable as there is another position up for grabs soon, and they want him to go for it. Another 1k a year, which isn't much but its pretty much the same job, so it will not change our lives much - but another £60 or so a month. This might enable us to get out of our draughty run down flat soon too.

I have lazed about all day, and going to visit a friend then DVD with Mr f tonight. It is nice to have some chill out time 🙂

Its day 13 now - I must admit I am really tempted to gamble today. Not sure why, just feel like it. I was a little tempted yesterday too. However, I will deal with tomorrow then but today I shall not succum. I was going to use the sunbeds today, but they are above the arcade so I will be pale and interesting until these urges pass!
