Well done on the gambling front.
As to the other, well, it really is stressful when a baby comes along. Don't underestimate the extra strain that is due to the new arrival. It's just something you have to get through. Doubtless it doesn't help if there's probs with your Mum and your OH. You just have to stick at it for a while until the relationship/s*x/happiness levels find themselves again. It took us over a year after our first, and I don't think we're atypical. Things are pretty good now, but it really isn't easy. Just hang on.
Day 218: no gambling today.
Day 219: no gambling today.
Day 220: no gambling today.
I have just read through the first month of my diary. I can certainly see that I am in a better place now compared to how things were back then. However, there is no room for complacency in my recovery. I am planning to attend a GA meeting within the next fortnight; I want to share my experience as well as hearing the experiences of others. I also need to start raising more money in order to cover the cost of household repairs and improvements. I am planning to sell some more CDs on the Music Magpie website.
