Well done on the 6 weeks staying offline , admire u for keeping trying it shows great determination to want that better life we all desire , gambling always comes back to haunt us when it comes to the past esp when credit checks are been made I still av 5 years b4 mine will even start to change but ur doin the right thing keep looking forward and not back

just a quick message, to say well done on your gamble free life and things will get better. You can at least take comfort that with no gambling you are so much better off. Debt situations are uncomfortable, especially when they impact are ability to work, there should be ways round it. I have issues with the type of work I am in, and have managed to placate some people with regards to my awful credit situation.

Anyway, hope it all goes well and keep up the great work.

Thanks for the replies. No luck with jobs Lisa though had 2 interviews last week but I completely messed one up due to nerves! Had a perfect week apart from that - still gamble free 7 weeks now:) Had a fab weekend spent with family, slightly hungover today but it was worth it! Keep strong everyone xxx

Glad ya had a great weekend. Sorry about one of the interviews but ya never know with these things. Job interviews can be nervous places but when the right one cones along I know you'll nail it. Congrats on 7 weeks that's awesome. Your doing great and you'll see all aspects of your life start to improve, not gambling really does help in so many ways. Have a great week.

Thanks for the replies guys. Cannot seem to motivate myself today, slightly hung over and should be cleaning the house but I cannot be bothered! Just want to watch TV and veg out but also need to be looking for jobs. I have been entering competitions online and won a bottle of aftershave today! Hope my hubby likes it, hopefully next win will be bigger! Signing off for now..............

8 Weeks Gamble Free Today!!!

Wow cannot believe it's been 8 weeks, very proud of myself 🙂 Looking forward to the weekend - going to visit family which will involve lots of wine and laughs. Still job hunting, just praying I get one soon as it is a struggle. Also had to apply to an employment tribunal for claiming my redundancy so that will probably be a long drawn out process. It isn't a huge amount of money but it would certainly help me out! Have a good weekend everyone, stay strong x
