Thanks for the amazing support in my dark days when I was struggling to go a payday without gambling, I couldn't see a way out but your support helped me get back on track and I'm now feeling amazing on day 100! You're such a supportive and inspiring person and have helped so many on here......thank you!

Thanks for your posts, it does mean alot xxxx

Good morning diary,

317 days of. Starving the addiction and winning, wished I had put a pound in the jar everyday now, but to be honest I just never had even one pound spare, lol, but might start now.

Day 3 at new job, there is quite a lot to learn and take in, and these days they expect you to learn everything in minutes lol. but am being shown the ropes by a lovely lady for at least 2 weeks, so as our Sandra says progress will be made lol.

Nooo time for gambling thoughts head is just too busy with learning new job and the addiction hates that I have totally swept it under the carpet, and the carpet has now gone to the SKIP where it belongs.

Abstaining and maintaining one day at a time is my way to keep going onwards and upwards,.

There is a big world out there and I want to be able to see plenty of it. and I can as long as I stay STOPPED.

Wishing everyone a strong, focused and calm gambling free day.

Suzanne xx

Good morning diary,

318 days of winning, on my rollercoaster journey ride, I say this because most days now gambling is the last thing on my mind, but there is those other few days where it tries to sneak in, like this morning, last day of doing first week in new job, treat time when you get home, TREAT time f**k, it doesn't want to treat me it wants to crucify me, I know 100% that one small bet would be my big landslide, so don't keep trying to sneak back in, I am stronger than you now addiction, and no way I am going to play your EVIL GAME.

Negioations sorted abstaining and maintaining one day at a time, I love my sanity and new life too much.

Wishing everyone a strong positive and sane gambling free day.

Suzanne xx

Hi Suzanne how are you? Sorry have posted on your diary for while but I see things are still going good, 318 days in superbbbb! We all get them thoughts , treat time etc, or like " flip if theyre having fun why cant I" but theyre only thoughts and with the skills we've developed we keep them at thought s and rationalise them , and dont turn them into actions!

Well done on the new job as well, great news.

Thanks all your support is much appreciated xxx

Good FRIDAY morning diary,

319 days of winning, and my first week over at work, thank goodness,

So 3 days off now and I have the car today so big food shop is on the agenda and I have little man til 3 this afternoon so another busy gambling free day.

To be honest those stupid niggles yesterday are still around it's absolutely ridiculous because I am just not interested.

My recovery is far too precious now, my life may be vulnerable at times, but its at these times that I step up and stamp the vulnerability out,.

I want to congratulate Triangle and Ringerbell for reaching one year of abstinence, it truly is an amazing achievement to reach on this continous journey.

Staying strong and positive today and making my right choice for me, gambling today NO THANKYOU been bitten many more times than once, why on earth would I want to get bitten again, well I don't, and my addiction hates that.

Wishing everyone a strong positive and happy gambling free day.

Suzanne xx
