It's only the excitement of getting a big win though .. the sick disgusted feeling when I finished and have no money left for bills or food etc is the worst feeling ever . Having to borrow money and lie saying I'm skint as I've had lots of bills this week etc ..
I need to change and I need to do it now . My husband is so kind and supportive sometimes I want him to just scream at me that I'm ruining everything .. but like he says , nothing is going to make me feel worse than I already do . That's true I guess ?
So anyway I went to the slot shop won quite a lot . Went again lost so obviously I went again to win back what I'd Lost ,,and I did .. was up by xxx ..paid some Xmas bills off .. got some new clothes .. opened an online account and played some more slots .. won withdrew .. put more on .. won withdrew.. put more on lost .. more.. lost again etc etc .. so now I'm skint again. Couple of bills due out next week but can't borrow anymore ?.
I already get my wages paid into hubby account and he transfers me money for any bits I will need in the week .. I have one bank card barred from gambling .now I will do the other one . Close the online account and block online casinos again . I did it years ago but now have new email and new surname after marriage so I guess that's how I managed to open new account .
I know its an addiction ,don't know where I get it from ,everyone else in the family are great with money and very sensible and here's me chucking 100s in a machine .. I can think about it and realise its just throwing money away .. I mean if someone said go and set fire to this wad of bank notes I'd think they were insane . But when yr sat there putting note after note in a machine it's like all reason goes out the window .. ..
Anyway day 1 for me .. I will do this and beat this addiction . For myself and my loving family ..❤
to begin with its the thrill of winning money and for alot of people winning money u havent earned is how they draw alot of people in, when u become an addict then it becomes less about winning more about the thrill which is why fair few wealthy people such as footballers and celebrities fall into the same trap as it becomes less as a means to make money more about addiction plenty of very rich people have lost alot due to their gambling problems as the more u have the more you are prepared to risk it doesnt matter if your worth 10k or 100mill if your sucked into gambling it will lead to distruction, gambling a business they wont be spending x amounts of money on marketing if it wasent a profitable business its very addictive and its one thing that u cant get bored off so they not making new games to keep people hooked
