Day 6 for me and will of steel
Good stuff KP. Day 7 here and very determined. I've got better focus, concetrating on my job and drinking less. I've actually realised that I need to raise my game at work; amazing what you realise when you have a clearer head.
So my priority today is to concentrate on my job and get up to standard. It has shaken me a little to realise I was slipping!
IDear Diary, Full steam ahead at work, really good day under my belt.
Out tonight but will not gambling. Going out with barely enough - £30 - ensures it.
It also means I don't get overly generous; I always buy more drinks than I get back so have been an 'easy touch' for years; it's time,not unreasonably, to balance up the score!
In other words, even things up. Heck, I might get a drink bought for me without me having to get one back once in a while!!

I had a great evening without even the urge to gamble! I saw the boxes in the corner of my eye but, to me, they looked like unwelcome strangers. If it was my pub, I would have unplugged them and kicked them out in the street. Electronic scavengers!
Just think, KP; those vulture-like tricksters aren't going to make any money out of you any more!
