Hey Sparks,

I have just read your diary and wanted to wish you luck in your fight against gambling. You seem like an upbeat and optormistic guy and with that attitude you can overcome anything.

I'm now six weeks gambling free, and the difference is makes to the quality of your life is pheonominal. I'm sure everyone will agree with me that its better not to have the 'highs' than to also live the 'lows'.

All the best,

Elite

Hi All,

Thanks Smokey, Londonguy, deeds and Elite for your support, didnt get chance to get on here yesterday as was kept pretty much busy all day and not with gambling for a change!

Deeds, that is an amzing gesture mate and thanks, but I have no problem in making the purchase, you have put your life into the book and if that isnt worth paying £5 or £6 pound for tohelp in this battle then i dont know what is! Thanks Deeds.

I also agree smoky, everybody is different and gambling has got us in different ways, everybody has there different forte also... I guess the way for me initially is to try this by managing my finances, if this fails this month then most definitely will opt for somebody to take care of them, especially my redundancy pay...

Gonna be a cr** day at work today, no money, dont want to borrow as I should have money so allways say im ok, again payday on Friday so let the battle begin!

Thanks again for your support guys, I cant really call this day 5 as really had no money in the bank, so I shall say Day 1 for me will be Friday!

Take care for now.

Pete

Hey Sparks, keep us updated on how your payday went. Hope you remain as determined as ever and that you managed to find some funds to by the book. What a lovely thing for you to say that you really wanted to purchase it in order to recognise the hard work that he put into writing it.
