Day 21 no gambling x

Been to the beach with the dog and collected coal. Got some chips at best chippy for miles and had a nice walk. Didn't have time for this 3 weeks ago.

What would you rather do? X

Day 22 no gambling. Have to be honest fought off urges today. Taking a leaf out of Julie's book. FFffff offfff urges/ gambling .

I do not want to gamble and I am stronger than any urges. I will beat this. I am a winner when I don't gamble.

Thanks Julie I am on day 23 which is where I got last time then hit a major blip. I believe through complacency. Not going to happen again day 23 not gambling today or tomorrow xx.

Day 24 still not gambling, still not going to. I am a winner because I don't give in to this horrible addiction.

Daughters Christmas carol concert tonight. Good night thought how much better it was rather than gambling! Oh god pleas see make me a better person , never want to gamble again but I know I have a fight on my hands!

Thanks Julie. I am in bed typing this having just woken for the 3rd time since coming to bed at 7.30 am. Sometimes I get a good sleep other times I don't. Last night shift for me then off till Boxing Day. Late shift then for 4 days. Currently feel a bit of a zombie so tend to watch tv or try to read a bit.

Day 30 in this battle no gambling today or tomorrow. Haven't got the time money or inclination xx

Thanks folks haven't been on a while been working hard and preparing for today. Great to see my daughter opening her presents. I have had a gamble free Christmas and it feels good.

Thanks Julie, changed your name? Just looked at my bank account. Whilst it is a tiny tiny step, when I get paid on New Year's Day, it will be the first time in 3 years my debt has not increased and has actually gone down!! Albeit by only a few payments on the credit cards and the loans I am paying but it will be a step in the right direction. I am determined to beat this addiction and seeing my debts go down is a brilliant target. Back to reality though one day at a time! No gambling for me looking forwards ! (Stolen from Duncan Mac ) x

Day 36 cash tight after Christmas but could have been worse. Just read favorite posts, good advice on there. Difficult week ahead as off work. Gonna do my best to block the urges this forum will be very important.

Thanks Julie, day 38 no gambling. Going swimming with the gang today had too much food and drink . Totally fat a** at the moment so gonna focus on exercise on my week off. Xx
