Thanks for your lovely post shorty.

I aim to write up all the things that I want to do with my inheritance, put them down in my diary as mini goals and then be able to tick them off one by one. I have not got access to any online sites so it seems the triangle is firmly in place to help me keep my inheritance to myself.

Take care and have a lovely day.

Well well - it's good to talk and persist!

Wrote in shorty's diary earlier about council tax arrears. I have £324.00 of arrears. When I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago, to what I thought, figure out a way to sensibly pay this back, I was told I would have to wait until it had been taken to Court first!!! Ridiculous I thought. Anyway, me being the tenacious person I am, I rang them back today to set up my monthly direct debit for this year's bill. I didn't even have to go any further - the advisor just said "would you like to spread your current arrears over twelve months also"?!! I explained that as soon as I receive my inheritance money, I would pay the remainder of this balance off. So there you go, persistence and a further phone call has now taken away another worry.

I have also just got some of my results back. All normal, apart from a low blood count, which will hopefully be one of the reasons I have been feeling exhausted lately. Just waiting on another one next week and then my scan apt.

Positive for today:

Anything is possible!

Take care all and so will I.

Fab news on your arrears and blood results. Annoying that your council didn't say you could spread the costs in the first place - it would have saved you a lot of worry but hey, you got there in the end!
Stay positive, it's wonderful to feel 'normal and peaceful'
Long may it continue - you're doing great!! xx

Hi Our Lady

Just caught up on your diary and it's good to read about your council tax arrears issue being somewhat resolved and also your test results. I'm pleased to see you're still on track and gamble free. I'm just six gamble free days behind you and I'm looking forward to following in your footsteps and forever being six days behind ! Take Care.

Day 40.

Well this morning, woke up with aches, pains, shivers and sore glands! Another trip to docs later! At least I am being seen before the weekend falls upon us. Feeling rubbish at the min but just keep reminding myself how bad gambling can make me feel both physically and emotionally!! No thanks. Will settle for this any day of the week.

That's it for today folks.

Take care all and have a lovely g.f week.

Well done...40 days and counting 🙂

Stick with it Lady, you have done amazing before, you can do it again!

Wrap up well & I hope the doc can give you something to help....Keep with those positive thoughts, gambling will only ever make things worse, we both know that....Wishing you a fabulous gamble free weekend!

Take care

This "I'm not a robot" is really beginning to test my patience now and putting me off writing on mine and other people's diaries! Can something not be done about this?!!

Day 41.

Feeling like a wet lettuce. Long story short - just about made it to the docs before almost collapsing in the surgery. Doc took one look at me and took my b.P, which she said, was dangerously low, and rang the hospital and then an ambulance!! Turned out, I had lots of white infectious cells running through my body, culminating in septic spots on both of my tonsils!! No wonder I have not been feeling right for the past few weeks! At least the blood test on my gallbladder was fine so hopefully, this will now rule out gallstones. The scan will confirm this no doubt. Have now been discharged and sent home with two weeks worth of strong anti biotics and plenty of rest.

On one hand I feel pretty c**P right now, yet on the other hand, feeling "normal and peaceful" once more. Looking forward to picking up and enjoying life once more.

Have a lovely g.f weekend everyone and so will I.
