PROBLEM GAMBLER

Morning all another day without gambling hope everyone ok and sticking to our goal

no gambling yesterday. I come on here and write how I feel and then just delete it I wonder if I m the only one to do this as I find reading other diaries an insperation maybe just feel still not quiet ready to bare all of me yet .

Thank you for support and advice .topsy turvey doll finished and scarf so started on jumper now for grand daughter hope I can follow pattern .going to read some dairies now as always help me to focus on my goal

Managed another day without gambling still knitting like mad but much cheaper and always something there at end will be a jumper for grand daughter by end of tommorrow hopefully if you saw what a slow knitter I was you would know that I can see how long I wasted gambling since I am trying to stop this addiction as I ve made topsy turvey doll scarf and over half way through jumper hope everyone enjoys weekend stay strong for yourselves and each other ans strive forward to our success one step at a time

GAMBLED AGAIN its not easy giving up when it is or seems my only escape from all the stress that s around me. dr said I was depressed asked if I wanted tablets or to see councillor and then gave me piece of paper with number on he had underlined .I m actually realising slowly that I stress if my son is going to school late because of all publicity of how much trouble you can get into keeping him off school to often I have sent him and he s been sent home.

I am frightened of upsetting anyone and would rather not say anything than give the wrong answer or voice my opinion.I feel trapped with no way out .

been reading diaries lots of good advice and shows that we re all here to help ourselves but by doing so help each other to put perspective on our problems and work through them at our own speed. every success written about makes me smile and think if they can so can I so here goes again day 1 .....

knitting a hat now first time. for that lets hope I can manage to stay off slots on line today .

Keep up the determination and focus on other things. There are so many more other things in life than gambling. Life is not easy and full of ups and downs..but we have a choice to make the decision to better our lives.

Take it day at a time and believe in yourself

Thanks for encouragement. the determination and support here really is amazing and much appreiciated and not feeling judged helps. as I really want to beat this and reach my goal of never again .thanks again to everybody, those who share there achievements in there diaries and those who read them and those especially who take time to reply to us all.

Not even tried to go on gambling sites today .nearly finished knitting hat ,scarf next then maybe try knit cuddly bunny if I can make head or tale of pattern sometimes I think you need a degree to manage to follow some patterns. hope everyone ok and another step forward in our goal to be gambling free

still knitting like mad on to scarf now .still not tried to log in to my favourite slot sites .son home ill today .

NO GAMBLING for another day

managed not to gamble even though got really stressed today life can do that I guess hope everyone sticking to their goal here goes to another gamble free day

Another day here goes, still knitting, scarf for grandson now should be done by end of week. how much time have I sat watching pictures on screen spinning in the hope numbers would go up and not down but always ended up ending on 0 which ment minus really because money put on was gone so bank balance goes down
