Had a great day....first day back at work but got thru it.....seemed like a long day at work today.....time went slowly but i got thru it.....came back got my usual coffee for 18p (bannana) hahahaa

Ate some sausages for dinner...tried richmond ones got 12 (4 meals worth) for 2.25 pounds pretty good price....they seem pretty nice.....

We celebrated tazmans 100 day gamble free today....was great...done a few jokes....good fun.

Then i though as its stoptober and im coming up to my 4 year mark i could motivate and help some people thru the stoptober at work....so i put together a slide about how i deal with moments of weakness....and some gambling related jokes....i know some at work are doing the stoptober and when the newsletter comes out itll be the start of the last week....also some people at work may have some issues with vices.....so awareness of help availale is also good.

All in all a good day.

Adam xx

Hi Diary.... another three weeks have gone by and its under 5 weeks now till i hit my 4 year gamble free mark.....I'm reminded over this weekend thru other friends that this journey is soo fragile......one false move one temptation......one wrong decision.....one impulse can take us to fall back to old ways.

With this in mind im helped by the thought that if i did stumble and fall back to old vices that i'd come here....talk...be listened to ....then make the correct decision to get back to my sober self...my gamble free self....my smoke free self....this is a fragile journey.

This weekend ive been tidying my flat.....having friends over.....as allways watching footie.....looking at my dream team....keeping warm inside.....i've also spent a lot of time doing my newsletter for work.....we used to have monthly pulse surveys written by head office to try and find out how motivated and happy staff were....to be honest i found them to be something that i didnt like...i used to not like the intrusiveness of them and thought they wouldnt really show anything usefull for head office.....three years ago with this in mind i done a porter pulse survey my own survey to make fun of it and i put lots of funny things about work in it to cheer people at work up.....it went down really well so i also done it last christams and also this year have done the newsletter articles to make funny things for staff to entertain them on a dull monday morning at work....  so i hadnt thought about it for a while but i  thought on friday night i could do this years porter pulse survey on funnty and motivational and stress relieving things that ive put in the newsletter over the year to remind everyone about what they can do for their health and to maybe raise a smile or two when they do it....

I also went for a roast round my folks saturday which was very nice.....

Well all i can say is everyone loves a tryer and i really do try lol

Also i think im going to try and not go to a restaurant for a year.....I really dont do restaurants much but the expense i can really do without.....so ill c if i can do a year without..... steaks at home taste nicer once a month anyway..

all the best adam xxx
