This is my 1st post.
I have been gambling since i was 15 or 16 and Im now 24. My big problem used to be slots, then roulette and now blackjack. I have always bet on football alongside and I have made a healthy profit on football bets.
2 years ago i took out loans to gamble and proceeded to lose 15,000 over a few months. A year ago I entered a Dmp and now owe £11000 as I make a monthly payment and had a few payday loans written off.
Every payday my direct debits come out on payday then I am left with about £700 disposable income for the month. Most months i lose about half and leave it there.
Today I have lost £650 and the remaining amount I have spent on food shopping in an attempt to keep my head above water. I have ways and means to get by for the next few weeks but I'm just fed up of it and want to give it up.
However my job isnt going anywhere and I feel i gamble because Im only letting myself down.
I hope tomorrow will be the first gamble free day of many and I will post on here when urges arise and post my progress
