Well, Soul, it's downright tropical where you are compared to me! The high today was 11 celcius which I think is pretty close to 52 f, so if you had 70 f today, you're laughin'! you must be alittle farther down south. And it felt bloody cold here 'cause the wind was howling. As a result, I didn't get my yardwork done but I did get the kitchen floor washed. Oh Well. Tomorrow is another day.

Oh ain't got nothing that cold yet. Hell suppose to be 70's the rest of the week which suites me just fine.

Just finished up work and downing that cold one with some spicy a_as salsa. Yeah made up a new batch last Saturday after work and no hobenaro pepper this time. lol used 2 thia peppers and a jalepheno. Yeah has got a nice burn to it and very eatable. Really like making up this salsa stuff and barely last me the week. Hell love eating the stuff and next to nothing for calories in it. Sh_it put on like 15 pounds since I quit smoking and yeah sitting at 125 for weight right now. Being 5 foot 5 inches I guess it ain't all that bad but never like going over 120 myself. So yeah guess I've noticed since I quit smoking things don't fly out the back door so to speak like they use to and yeah this salsa may loosen that up a bit. Lol lol lol

Hi brokensoul and happy to see you back and still staying away from those smokeys!! Haven't been around here much myself but will be checking more often now.

Your salsa sounds good 🙂 I have some garlic salsa on the fridge too so I guess that with chicken today.

You make me laugh, Soul. Love salsa, esp homemade, but I have to stick with the mild stuff these days. Stomach acid gives me problems... taking pills for that now. Also read earlier that you made sun pickles. Never heard of that but sounds good. You just keep fighting that smoking monster and the gambling too. I'm so in awe that you've managed to stay free this long. I think I've only ever managed 24 hours without smoke in the last 35 years and that's only 'cause I was on a plane (and even then, I think I put a patch on!). Go, Soul!

Lol too funny hell try some zantac 75 and one of them little pills heartburn be a thing of the past. Sun pickles are awesome but never took em to the extreme with the hot peppers though. Lol pet project next summer since ya need the sun and hot weather. Thinking the next batch be making that hobenero salsa look tame. Lol lol lol

Yes, have done the Zantac thing before when I had an ulcer. This drug is a bit different and seems to help so I'll stick with this for now... not to mention it's covered through my work whereas Zantac isn't. Thanks for the suggestion, though. And I guess I won't be making those sun pickles anytime soon.... days getting shorter and shorter here. I'm above Montana quite a ways up!

Whaaa hooo lol holly fricken hotness. Lol lol lol mixed me up a new batch of salsa and used 3 Thai peppers and 1 jalepheno this round. Sh_it could see the one Thai pepper was over loaded with seeds and that just means burn baby burn. And hell yeah it did. Lol lol lol still no where near as hot as the one habanero but a close second.

Sh_it the farmers market is all good but way over priced. Hell they want between $2 & $3 smackers for a pound of tomatoes. hell grocery store has em for $1.19 a pound and can't taste a difference in my mouth. Probably cause there is none but wallet feels better for not. Lol. Yup most thing are created equal It's only a dumb a-ss that thinks It's better cause the price tag is bigger. Lol lol lol

Thanks for your posts on my diary and good news with the phone! I think it works now after some rebooting. Hopefully that thing will last until end of this year at least...it's 3 years old and have taken tons of damage along the way so should be happy with it... but really don't want to buy new one right now so I hope it works fine now.

But good to see you are staying free and doing fine 🙂 And don't stress yourself up with those mice lol! And thanks to you I remembered I still have some salsa on the fridge so gonna finish eating that now!

Back at you for the weekend, sun is shining here.

Little tiny sweet mouses huh. Down here on the river we get rats the size of cats. They can't get on my boat but don't leave the door open at night just in case and the foxes always prowling and howling as well. Ain't nature just wonderful.

xxx

Well got mouse number 3 this morning and hoping thats it for them miserable things. Wanna say last time caught 5 before I was rid of the things though.

Hit the farmers market this morning and loaded up on garlic. Wanna say there's only one or 2 more left to shop before it ends for the year. Hell took some searching to find it at a decent price. Lot of them folks want like $11-$18 a pound. Lol lol lol hell can get it in the store for $4 so ain't never paying that. Lol some one was selling like 5 heads of the stuff for $2 and thought sold. Gonna do me up some tacos a bit later and still need to do a store run for some soft shells and sour cream. Got the air conditioner out of the window and back down stairs so making progress for only being home a hour. Downing a cold one of course and glad the work week be over. Hell should sleep good today. Yup neighbors next door decided to move just as I hit the sack so yeah not much for sleep with all the banging doors and things bouncing down steps. Lol guess don't really care who moves in in their place, just as long as they got a lawn mower and a shovel. Lol lol lol

Thanks for the support on my diary and suggestion for the ROAR song. The lyrics are very encouraging. To get a video, just google youtube and search in there for what you want. Then you can just copy and paste the link (the url) where you want to.... like here....

Gettin' my roar back!

Laughing that you are dealing with an air conditioner! I've already turned the furnace on, even though, this year is much better than last year. At this time last year, we already had snow. Hope you got some sleep last night!
