Dunc and Ade, thanks for your posts.

Missed GA last night. Feeling tired and just needed to spend an evening at home.

Nice spell of weather up here for a change.

Hey Gazza,

Thanks for your post the other day my friend.

You are inspirational my friend. I really wish I had the determination and dedication to do this recovery as you are.

66 weeks is awesome. I struggle to even do one week these days.

Am I weak, or is it just that I really do not want to stop? Even I don't know the answer to that one. Sometimes I am driven to get the better of this draining addiction, and then at other times I fall back into habits far far to easily.

When I started my very first recovery diary nearly 5 years ago I had debt and I had stooped to my own personal low point in my life.

Now, I am back in the black and I have a base to build from again. I could save and get back to valuing my money once again as I did before gambling swallowed me up.

I just cannot get as dedicated as some on this forum. Yourself and Duncs are my role models to recovery.

One day at a time....

Ade

Day 464and 465

Thanks Ade for your post.

Think the realisation hit me hard that if i didn't stop then i would lose everyone and everything i hold dear.

Checking in here and going regularly to GA reminds me why i can NEVER gamble again-the consequences would be horrific.

Hey Buddy,

Great to see you still ticking off those days. Missing 2 GA meetings myself for the first time last night and next week due to other commitments. I know that when I go back it will do me the world of good. I think we both know that recovery needs a huge degree of commitment. Credit to you for still committing each and every day!
