Day 669-673 (22 months)

Thanks NM for your post.

I'm doing fine. Trying to cut back on the booze and increase the exercise-sound familiar?

Hope everyone is well.

Day 674,675,676 and 677

Made it to GA last night. A member reported gambling. Seems the pressure of Xmas got to them. Not been posting much but have been reading some diaries. It would appear that many gamcarers are doing well.

Best wishes,

G

Gazza

Fella I found you all the way down on page 4! glad to read that the medicine in the form of Ga is still serving a great purpose.

Xmas and more so the new year saw a influx of nigh on twenty newcomers to my room this month, on one side oof the the coin sadly it is only half way through, but on the other side, great to see those needing help seeking it.

I hope they stick around, as we both know the results are

Abstain and maintain.

Duncs stepping forward never back.

Day 678-684

some people talk alot of sense, some people just talk. I find it's the same here. I don't post as much but there are some diaries I read on a daily basis.

Day 685-691

GA last night was good for the soul. Smaller meeting than usual and a lot of wise words spoken.

Different style of recovery story and that was good.

I'm fine. Not posting as much but readind diaries fairly regularly.

Best wishes,

gazza

691 days free from Gambling Gazza.. just brilliant.. you are an inspiration to myself and many others on here i'm sure.. i WILL make 691 days myself, i will. However, there will be pressure and stress and some tough times along the way but i'll go steady one day at a time, making the right choices. Seeing guys like you getting to where you are spurs me on mate. Well done and thank you.

Day 692-698

Didn't make it to GA last night.

The whole family is suffering at the moment from coughs and colds.

It was easier to be at home.

I'll try again next week.

Hope everyone is well

Hi.

I am at the beginning of 'recovery' and have just been reading through your posts - just want to say thank you for your honesty - you wrote that the shame and guilt haven't gone, and I appreciate that, just hoping that helps to stop me/us never to go back! So, I am thinking that if you can get to week 100 then so can I -almost two years! I crave some kind of stability and know it'll be a hard climb but at least it's a climb in the right direction not another fall! Well done, thanks for sharing, and I wish you much happiness x

Today sees me 23 months into recovery.

still difficult from time to time as money's tight. This will get easier but it will take time. Thanks to all the GC members who have posted on my diary, I really do appreciate it.
