The funny thing is GA & AA literally saved my son's life (as dramatic as that sounds) so I will forever be grateful to those rooms. It saddens me as they are supposed to be a program of attraction not promotion but ain't nobody going to be attracted to some of the stuff I've read. Nuf said.

You truly are a kind & thoughtful man who has a huge place on this forum providing support and hope to newcomers and old-timers alike.

I hope your not following me as it's none of your doing and it's just all about sticking up for what I think's right Cathy and that's deffo not right . 

I'm accepting I'm gone now cathy but TBH it's sooo worth it as I can't just stand by and see people coming for help being judged the moment they arrive :)) .

I (like others I imagine) get the most wisdom and inspiration from those on here who aren't afraid to share their innermost thoughts, feelings and vulnerabilities on here - either while still gambling or post-gambling.

Was pleased to read about your brief meeting with another member of the forum. 

Was not pleased to read that you may be having a period of absence from here.

The GA conundrum is something that has been around the forum since the day i joined and many chat conversations have evolved around that subject. I went a few times. Wasnt for me. Have used other tactics which have worked. Each to there own as everyones recovery is personal.

Mark my words - you will be back. You need people and people need you.

No doubt will speak soon. Looked on FB for silly old chip frier with no success. Technology is the way forward.

Gather you're off and as a newbie so sorry to hear that. Been here 9 months but still feel quite fragile & very much on a learning curve. I'm no-one who's opinions count for little or nothing, but i ask you if not for my sake but for many others to whom you've given so much guidance, wisdom, and advice PLEASE RECONSIDER.  Suspect my request will fall on deaf ears, if that's the case good luck mate & i sincerely wish you well. Just think of your early days of not recovery but stage 1 of wanting to stop & where you'd have been without the experience of wiser men than yourself. Gamcare will be a poorer place without you.

Had wrote an earlier post but went under moderation and subsequently deleted with wrasp around ones knuckles.

Thought a little harsh, as only questioned whether it was by choice or by the somewhat it seems heavily moderation these days ( used different terminology ), if it's the latter, then a possible reason why this forum has lost its fluidity. Yet, if its fir the former then I would agree with Dean above, you know full well from your time in these diarys that emotions and overly sensitivity overcome some. 

Possibly not your diary to Express this view but as with a footballer showing the ref an imaginary red card to the ref is a little akin to some one running to GC and assisting on a fellow users banning from GC, unprecedented and very unsportsmanship 

Anyway, you've seen from a few posts from above and else where in this forum that your a valued supporter of many, so will leave it here and wish you well
