I will be 11 months gamble free next week, and i couldnt be more chuffed. I literally went cold turkey, and cut my bank cards * which iv now re ordered as theres no temptation and my gamban is extended . I just needed to start 2024 clean from this rubbish
I never thought i could do it after gambling for 14 years. But he we are. This horrid addiction caused me alot of pain. Grief etc. Put me in some dark places and has always had me in some kind of debt. But safe to say i will be debt free end of january latest, and i cant wait, and i dont bloody miss it 1 bit, i look back now thinking why the hell did i do it? I often thing of the hundreds of thousands i probably lost and think i could be well into my mortgage but i am slowly letting this go now and learning to accept it, life is what you make it and you must keep going. Iv noticed also since iv stopped. The ads are insane, even on the likes of a music radio station, i wish it would stop but supose theres too much money in it for both sides.Â
Anyway heres to a year on boxing day. If.your struggling please seek help and dont be embaressed , it happens to the best of us.
