Hi so basically I signed up for gamstop to stop me gambling as it was out of control I signed up for 5 years and I’ve found that one UK casino ( very popular) is still letting me deposit and play (I’m not supposed to be allowed there registered for gamstop) and in weakness I’ve ended up playing and loosing is there anyway I can try get any funds back as it’s breached there terms and conditions and it’s cost me I shouldn’t be allowed to do it I’m clearly a problem gambler ( NOT AFTER SYMPATHY )Â
@jn1234 Did you use the same email address and name as you registered with Gamstop and how quickly after registering did you gamble?
Chris.
Yes mate same email same username and I banned it about 2 years ago still allows me to play to this day

Maybe check with your exclusion timeframe, just to be sure that you did exclude for the full five years.
Hopefully Gamcare will be able to help you but remember it is just a block, it's not an iron clad guarantee to stop every compulsive gambler every time.
I'm sorry for you, even though you're not after sympathy, but there are other blocks that can also help, including the gambling blocks that a lot of banks now offer so you cannot use your card for gambling transactions.
Chris.
self exclude on the individual site problem sorted u think you should put the energy into stopping gambling more than trying to get the money back you gambled when you shouldnt have to many people on here csn think they can sign upto gamstop and try and try to get into a casino to deposit and when they lose they are so mad and want there money back i bet when they win they dont complain gamstop didnt work ?you sound more frustrated you lost your money and was able to do this than you do that you gambled in the first place ? Â like i said if you really want to quit self exclude from the individual site and put your energy and frustrations into quitingÂ
I would not go back onto a site to self exclude dangerous water going near one. Instead make sure you have more blocks the better there is not only gamstop but also gamban you can get for your devices a free link from gamcare to blcok even accessing the site, also many banks now offer blocks on gambling transactions
Dont beat yourself up to much by getting gamstop in the first place you obviously showed you was focused on recovery many others have relpased before. But the important thing is to get back up stronger and remember the reasons why you want to stop.
