@gbt804pchj definitely small steps will get you there.  Time will fix this but doing little things You know you enjoy definitely helps.

Getting back into the gym has seriously helped me, put some music on and get to work your body will love you for it.

You’re not alone in this mate I feel exactly how you feel with the guilt, struggling to get up not enjoying things.  I just put one foot infront of the other and do more things I know I enjoy.

Don’t look back, work on yourself to be a better version of yourself.  I’m back in the gym, lost 14kg and trying to stop, take a breath and be grateful for things I have. I’m also like you I don’t have any debt I have just lost my savings.  Perspective goes a long way, a lot more people are worse off than us with putting them selves in  a huge amount of debt having to pay back for years.  Health problems, family problems just try to realise that things will get better and you will get back to your old self.

Small steps, make tomorrow better than today 👍

@6vj82fy54k thanks mate. Really means a lot. I am struggling and have been in a kind of limbo stage the past couple weeks not knowing what else to do to try and make things better. However, it’s just going to be time to make things better. But also, me feeling sorry for myself and constantly down and guilty is only going to make things worse for myself and make me even more depressed and ultimately effect relationship with my gf, family and friends. I need to try and snap out of this and realise things are getting better, and if I try and be more positive within, it will make a huge difference to my life for the better.

@gbt804pchj exactly mate great mindset! Start getting back into the gym and do things you enjoy, if the guilt starts creeping in try the breathwork and think in perspective of where you are it could be worse!

you being a better person makes it better for everything around you which in turn makes it easier for you to do.

Your seriously doing a great job two months is huge!! Imagine you’d been gambling for those months and another 2 months of money down the drain, give yourself some credit.

Get it at tomorrow and make it a better day, circle back here and let me know how you’re going. one day at a time mate! Onwards and upwards from here.

@6vj82fy54k hi mate. So had a good day today and determined to keep this going. I didn’t manage the gym today but it is something that I am going to get back in to and I hope I will be going 4/5 times a week again like I used to. I have good days and bad days but I am just wanting to feel relaxed in my head and currently in this situation I’m not which is why I find it hard to do anything else or invest time in anything which is unhealthy. But I do realise doing more things like exercise and using up energy in a positive way will help to not use up energy in a negative way by being anxious and over thinking all day. One step at a time is all I can do just now, but as long as I am making progress and not gambling, I need to be happy as my life is getting back to normal. I just need to let it happen.
