Orchid, you know the one about gamblers being v manipulative? He seems to have you right where he wants you and if it's all your fault then it can't be his.
In my view, your affair is much more understandable than his gambling but you shouldn't rely on this. And two wrongs don't make a right.
You are responsible for your affair and he is responsible for his gambling and addictive behaviour, which was going before, during and after your affair. However, you are not responsible for his gambling, you had no control over it which is why it's come to divorce, don't let him persuade you otherwise.
