I have finally took the first step I have only been gambling for 1 year but already seen the affects it can have on my life so I decideems to tell my family before it gets to late and never borrowed money but nipped it in the bud before I had to.

My recovery happened because I admitted to my self that I was emotionally vulnerable.
My recovery happened because I was dedicated going to meetings as many as it was needed to abstain from unhealthy habits.
My recovery happened because I wrote down my needs my wants and my goals.
My recovery happened because I opened up to give as deep as therapies as I could.
I accepted the simple fact that when I went gambled I made my life far worse and caused pains up on my self and others.
I handed over all of the finances to my wife which was hard because of my control issues.
In time I got to trust my self with money.
I am a non religious person yet I am a very spirtual person.
