I've notice welcome posts going on new diaries from admin giving lots of useful info and think it's a great idea to welcome people. It would be a good idea to continue doing this in my opinion

Thank you for your feedback. This is really helpful to us and we will certainly try and continue to do so.
Sometimes new members, who start diaries, would have previously posted elsewhere on the Forum (mainly the new members section) and would have had a welcome there. Other times, new members receive such amazing input and a wealth of suggestions from other members, that it doesn't seem to be necessary for us moderators to repeat this. And some members prefer writing their diaries in exchange with other members and without our input.
Either way, it's important to us to help making this Forum feel truly welcoming and we will take to heart that you like the idea of us welcoming members on their new diaries.

I've also noticed this more than in previous. It does give people a lift, just a 'welcome' and informal advice in how to navigate the diarys. Well done people of Gamcare....
