Hi. My names Dan. Im 30 and have been gambling for probably 12 years but now I want/need to stop. I have the most amazing girlfriend and son who I don't want to lose and if I keep gambling I know that that is what is going to happen. All help would be very much appreciated and tips to stop gambling will be used. I've self excluded myself from the sites that I used. I want a normal happy life.

Just reading the post and stories on here will help massively. Self exclusion is a great start, handing over the financial side of your life to your girlfriend is also a great idea. I would join the 2014 challenge which you can find in the overcoming problem gambling page of this site.
I am 132 days clean as i write this and time has flown by! take each day as it comes and be strong and very soon you will be writing a post like this to someone else and your life would have changed for the better!
