I found one nearby where I work on Mondays. Im going to see if I can join up and attended. Would love to hear back from anyone who's had experience of attending GA meetings as I think I'll spend the whole meeting breaking down in tears.

I would 100% recommend GA…I have struggled for years to stop gambling and tried everything but the only thing that has worked for me so far is GA, I live in middle of nowhere so attend online meetings twice a week, I’m about to start a live meeting tomorrow which I’ll go to once a month as well as the online ones.  I have cried loads but it’s like letting pressure out of a valve, you feel better the more you talk, and everyone knows exactly what you’re talking about, there’s nothing you can say that Will shock anyone because they will have all been there and done it…sometimes a lot worse!!  Good luck, I hope you find the strength to try it out!!

@q12oufpmhs

Thank you for reaching out and letting me know. I'm terrified to attend but know it's the right decision.

Cheers

Hi

If you take your recovery seriously attend meetings and share in healthy ways it can be a life saver for you.

The addictions obsessions only indicated that I was emotionally vulnerable.

I have been going to meeting regularly now over for over 54 years since 1969.

I like many people did not stop right away.

I like many people had lost all faith and confidence in my self.

I could not love my self so I could not love other people.

I could not respect my self so I could not respect other people.

Recovery and councelling could be the best investment you could do for your self.
