I was here as few year a go and it helped me stop for 6 months but I have lapsed and been playing again for about a year . had a big loss yesterday on Fobt roullete with money I had saved from not playing putting me back 2 a low. Need to try and stop again any advice.
Hi SD23, good to have you back posting again my friend, i'm sorry it isn't in better circumstances.
6 months is an excellent effort; the answers and advice you need comes from within you - there was something that drove you to undo all that hard work; whatever it was, you need to learn from it and ensure that you never make that mistake again.
Is there any gaps in what you need to do? I notice that you didn't post at all during those six months - you should keep it up my friend, even if you have nothing to say other than that you are doing well. Did you go to GA? Did you try self-excluding?
You are destined to repeat this process, over and over, if you don't learn from what has gone before my friend - you must push yourself to get through to the following day, no matter how strong the urges are.
Time to take this up a level my friend - you need to plug the gaps and ensure that you can turn six months into six years.

Hi SD,
Welcome back! It takes a lot of courage to admit to yourself that things haven't been going too well and to return to recovery.
You've done just that, you've returned to recovery. Keep going with this, remember that you have managed to stay off for a considerable length of time in the past and take some motivation from that. Try and focus what you have managed, instead of looking at what you haven't achieved.
You can do this and you know where to go for support. I hope that you will find it helpful to re-join this community.
Kind wishes
Gabriele
