I am new to this site.
37year old male with 3 children
Today is the day I kick this habit it’s been 20 year of wasting money gambling on all sports.
My last chance to change or I lose everything.
All I have done over the years Is go to work then spend all wages gambling not thinking of the damage it does to my family my girlfriend and my kids.
The lies you tell over hiding the fact you spent all money gambling is bad.

Well done for acting now and stopping. I am the same. I MUST stop or i am going to get nowhere in my life. Keep busy and find other things to take your mind off it. A new hobby perhaps? I am looking into golf coaching or joining a sunday league footy team, just as an alternative relief of stress.

This is my 1st day today and it’s been successful.
I will beet this I have to for my family and kids.
I have been so selfish to all family.
Going away to work coming home and spending all wages.
No more it stopped today I will beat this.
Stay positive.. talking to someone keeps your mind off it.
Visit a family member is a good thing least you can open up.

I’m the same age as you and have been gambling for as long as you have. I made the decision to quit on Thursday last week. I literally cannot afford to spend another penny on this habit. This is my umpteenth attempt but I am determined that this will be the one That sticks.

hi .first day on this site 11th day since last gamble.ihave told my mum and sister who are at the end of the phone when I need to talk or distract myself .I feel good today and am really trying not to.look further than today
