Hi

Walking in to my first meeting I was a very scared person.

Now after over 50 years I am still go to meetings.

Next Thursday I will celebrate 32 years gambling free.

The recovery program helped me understand how unhealthy and emotionally vulnerable I use to be.

Just for today I do not want or need to Gamble.

Each time I went back to gambling I made things in my life much worse and caused more pains on my self and other people.

Walking in to my first meeting was one of the best things that I did in my life.

Healing peace and recovery to you and your family.

Hi

I like many people did not stop from day one of walking in to the recovery program.

I even went  to moore than one meeting just to be able to abstain from gambling.

In time as the therapies started I understood that gambling was a form of escape.

I understood that gambling was a form of self abse and self neglect.

Once I took the recovery program I started to write down lists of my needs my wants and in time growing goals.

By me procrastinating found it was a very unhealthy habit.

By me getting things done I became more productive.

By me listening I learned that for me gambling was very unhealthy and painful.

In my recovery my fears reduced.

In my recovery I exchanged my unhealthy habits in to healthy habits.

Being in the recovery program I was no longer alone or afraid.

Thank you

Dave L
