Friday was my first day on here.
I'm now 7 days GF. It's not been too hard so far as I'm just fed up of it all, no money, lies, feeling sick etc. I know I'm a very long way off but with help and strength I can and will be free one day. All the best to you all

Cheers, myself I lost £20,000 in last 4 years of spread betting. Tomorrow is day 1 as today will hopefully be my last ever bet.
Jay. I lost a lot on the aim market in shares. I sold all my shares in April and gave the money to my sister as I would be tempted to trade shares or spread bet. I went 2 months gambling free until the last few days where I had a gambling spree and made a net loss of £350, so I am furious I have slipped. I know how the rewards of spread betting can be if it goes in your favour and how much you can lose quickly if it doesnt
interesting stories thanks 🙂 LostmyLife im intruiged by your story and feel we could help each other in some way. We are like almost opposites in that you saved all your life and never gambled then lost allin a brief(er) period, where as i started a problem at 15 (in 1995) and as a result never saved anything but STILL lost everything - just in a slower and more elongated way... that also affected years that were meant to be the happiest of one's life!
Would you be interested in getting in touch outside Gamcare as i never seem to notice when people reply to posts here ; it's a bit of a maze.
