Hello Everyone new to this website, first post and all that...
I have now had a gambling issue for about 8 months. While I have had always kept my sports betting under control (max £10 a week), my problem is definately with the online casinos. Slots, Blackjack and Roulette are all big problems and is what I need to completely forget about. The amazing part of this is that I have never stepped foot in a Casino or Bookmakers as it has always been so easily accessible online during my adult life; I am 21 years of age. I am a recent graduate but I am currently working with a wage of minimum wage, to which I weekly spend the majority on gambling. Some weeks I win, but the weeks I lose are just not worth it and I need to stop.
Making a change as of today. £220 pound winnings dropped into my account today, to which I planned on spoiling my Girlfriend for valentines day. Things turned sour and the same old thing happened again, I have lost every penny. Hope you dont judge me for what I have done, but while my love is strong for my girlfriend this impulsive addiction takes over in the moment and nothing else other than gambling crosses my mind.
Not going to winge and moan but instead move forward and really cut out this horrible habit. Therefore I come here for some advice and perhaps I can help others along the way. I feel what would be really helpful is some sort of bet prevention app for my iPhone as that is where I have most of the issues but can't seem to find anything online (Gap in the market right there!). Don't know if anyone has anything similar to that? I have self excluded myself from so many betting websites but there always seem to be one more I find and manage to gamble on.
Hope I didnt bore you haha, thanks for reading...

I know you might think your situation is bad/different but we all share many things in common so you are not alone in this.
Stay active, keep posting and feel free to say whatever thoughts/feelings or questions you have. Its a very open, non-judgemental place and people will be willing to help. There is a way out of this but it will require you to work and focus, giving yourself to recovery to remain gamble free.
All the best =)
Hi There,
Trust me, you won't be judged here, we're all in the same boat (well, similar boats).
There's loads of good advice here, I will echo the above and say read the thread above. You sound genuinely up for making the change so do everything you can now to prevent yourself from gambling.
All the best and keep posting 🙂
