Marlo, 6-8 months is a very short jail sentence of debt, and 6-8 months could be the biggest lesson of your life, on how overcome your habit. In ten years time, you could look back at these 6-8 months and day you dodged a bullet, as you continue to live a productive, gamble free life...
Or....
You could think you can win it back quicker than 6 to 8 months..
Or
You think your gambling habit isn't too bad..
Or you think one small bet won't hurt...
And you will find yourself further below the water, like us.. 6-8 months will beckme a 20 month sentence, or now me, a 60 month jail sentence (if I stay gamble free).. And you will find yourself reaching more rock bottoms... (it's amazing how low you can go)
Save yourself mate

Biggest lesson and regret actually done in my life. 2yrs of my savings all gone in a matter of days. Happy to say I'm still gamble free for now. But without a doubt I'm going to be thinking of doing it again a few days or weeks for sure. I just have to keep hold of myself when the time comes and keep myself out of the quicksand. I hope all is well with you mate. Thanks again for the advice.
I think I'm on my 6th day now? All I can think of is how to pay my debt. I'm looking for extra work just for a couple of hours or so. I wonder how you guys are doing? I still watch football live or on the telly. Doing no bets at all! I hope I can keep this up.
Hi guys. I just want to let this out here since I have no one to talk to at the moment. I'm getting really anxious now because of my debt. I think the interest on it will be bigger than I thought. How did you guys manage it? Did you borrow to some of your friends? I'm so frkin scared that I wont have any money to pay my monthly bills and have enough budget for my daily commutes, and for food! Arghh! I really hate this

Hi mate, thanks for commenting on my page just thought I’d have a read of your story.
My biggest piece of advice to you right now is tell somebody, tell somebody close to you and tell them everything.
The thought of that might make your stomach churn but trust me it’s the best thing. I found by telling someone that everything became a lot easier, I wasn’t alone, I’d broken the cycle and if I went back there I was letting them down as well.
4K is a lot of money but it’s not the end of the world, bring it to a stop now before 4 becomes 5 etc etc.
You will always look for that big win and sometimes it comes but with it inevitably comes an even bigger loss.
Tell someone, people are a lot more supportive and understanding than you think they’re going to be.
The best of luck, keep us posted.
