first time admitting a problem

Keista - You have done two brilliant things today - one is admitting to yourself you have a problem with online gambling and two is being really brave by coming on here today and sharing your problem with all the others on here. If you read many of the other posts on here you will find you are not alone - they are a friendly lot so don't be afraid to open up to them.. This is a great site to get help, advice and support and you can also talk to counsellors on here by telephone if you feel like it. I know it is not easy but try not to battle this on your own at home. If you have a close family member or friend you can confide in try to talk to them - but that it is up to you - very often they can help you control your finances. We have done this for someone and it is working at the moment. The problem with gambling is that it is usually such a big secret and once the secret is out it makes it a little more difficult to gamble. I will leave it to others on here to chat to you and give you more advice.

Thank you for your comment it made me feel like I had achieved something. Doing something like this is quite scary for me but I finally realised today how bad I have let it get an that I do need to sort it out an that I'm not alone..

Well I've kept myself busy today and have therefore coped. But now we're into the evening when I would normally be gambling and I'm trying very hard to abstain but I'm not gonna lie it is hard but i dont want to give in and since today is day 1 I don't yet have a diary so have read through other posts an that has given me the positive push I need to carry on..
