Debra,

Well done for acknowledging and try get some help. Can some one take over your finance temporary untill you can really trust yourself?

I have to admit - i havent put that in place but i do have the good will to do this. My payday is on Tuesday and i have set up a spreadsheet of all the stuff i need to pay. What ever left over i either transfer to my husband savings account or withdraw them out (i only gamble online).

Try stay away from scratch cards - but i know its hard. One day at the time. You will get there.

Think from now on how much you can save and be positive - dont look back and look for the future.

Well done for closing all the account and list the rest and try get yourself self excluded to, to avoid temptation. And does your daughter know about your addiction? If so - avoid borrow her bingo card as its not helping - im sure you know too.

Keep it up and if you have urges again - come on here and chat the gamcare or anybody here.

YOU CAN DO THIS.

Thank you Lucy

I'm going to try really hard to stop now, the thought of being in the same place this time next year is enough to depress me, I really have to beat this addiction!!

Debra,

You will kick this and keep up the good work. Positive mentality and when ever you are down - do something make you feel happy but not 'that'.

I'm having a reflection day today too - but no point looking back but fix the future - this time next year, we are mentally healthy - wealthier lol and put two fingers up to gambling.
