Going to my first gamblers meeting tonight

Hey mate, well done on taking this step. My first was super nerve wracking, but I got allot from it. 

You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to, but my advice would be to give it a go. Tell your story. You’ll be surprised at the result.

Well done for taking the steps to go to a meeting. I started going when I decided to stop gambling. It was an interesting experience and I've been to 5 now.

Update from last night 

just wow amazing very welcome all guys was nice and friendly gonna make it a weekly thing with them all I was surprised on how many of the story’s is similar to mine I would advise anyone to go I’ve been putting it off for the last few weeks but I pulled up my big Boys pants and done it.. 

6 weeks today baby gamble free how time flies 

Great job mate. Takes a lot of courage to walk through those doors. It does make you realise how much gambling impacts peoples lives, and how everyone’s story is basically the same, just with different levels of debt, and some desperate storie to go along with it. 

Good to see you will be going back. I’ve missed a few weeks in a row due to work, but always make sure I’m in here to keep me on track. Looking forward to going again on Monday.
