Hello all. I have been Gamble free for just over 3 years.. Every day is just a day at a time still. With adverts all over the TV. Online on Facebook etc. You can't escape it. I was very lucky to have a partner who stuck by me twice. I did relapse before this 3 years free. I still have low days and days I find it very hard. I find the way I cope with it is give all my tech to my partner till the urge has gone or I have at least seek help. A message for everyone take it a day at a time. You are stronger then you think. Mike
Hi, just joined myself. Not a really heavy gambler but still lost £600 over the weekend on fobt. I think anyone who has a tendency to just ignore the reasoning behind what we do is only going to fall deeper and deeper into despair. I've abstained often enough but gradually fall back into the old routine. Its my birthday on Friday and I'm going to give myself the best present i can, one day at a time I'm going to stop this pointless and expensive waste of time and grow up. Good luck to everyone else on here.
