Hi Sharn,
Welcome to the Forum!
Reading the posts on here is a good start and I am glad that you have decided to participate inn the Forum and post yourself now. I noticed that you have already started a recovery diary, too. You must be very close to your qualification and this is probably a very stressful time for you.
You can change your life, Sharn and we are here to help and support you. Maybe you'd like to talk this through with an advisor on the Helpline on 0808 8020133 or on the internet based Netline http://www.gamcare.org.uk/support-and-counselling/frontline-services/netline
Both services are open from 8am to midnight every day and you can speak to an advisor about your situation. There may be practical strategies which can help make stopping easier for you and an advisor can also point you in the direction of other support available to you. And it may be good to have a friendly voice who listens to your story and doesn't judge on the line to talk to.
Hope you are doing OK.
Kind wishes
Gabriele
